- Shaolin Chuan-Fa is a pretty generic term, like "Karate" or "Jujitsu".

- Many KF systems use animal styles. I think the older ones concentrate
- on the animals - I think that Hung Gar emphasizes the Crane and Tiger aspects.

- Different animals have different emphasis - monkey is groundwork, horse
- is kicking, tiger is powerful hand techniques (ripping, tearing, close range),
- crane is long range hand and kicks, dragon emphasizes oblique angles and
- getting around the opponent.
