- Isn't it the other way round, the pedals _should_ naturally unscrew in
- the direction of pedaling, so that if a pedal-bearing jams solid, it
- is going to unscrew rather than break your ankle. (Well, the
- principle comes from fixed-gear racing bikes with tow-clips or bolt-on
- shoes...)
