- The pps (pass, pass, self) pattern is of course easily done with 6 clubs:
- A|(1,3) (1,3) (0,3)
- B|(-1,3)(-1,3)(0,3)
-
- where the (1,3) and (-1,3)'s are passes and the (0,3)'s are selfs.
-
- To add a club we perform a local translation at any location:
- A|(1,6) (1,3) (0,3)
- B|(-1,3)(-1,3)(0,3)
-
- The (1,6) is a quadruple pass. B would start with the extra club.
- This is quite difficult as it is. We can permute the two throws A makes and
- get the legal pattern:
- A|(1,4) (1,5) (0,3)
- B|(-1,3)(-1,3)(0,3)
-
- This requires A to throw doubles and triples whereas B still does the usual
- singles. Of course, B has to catch A's doubles and triples!
- There is yet another possible pattern:
- A|(0,5) (1,3) (1,4)
- B|(-1,3)(-1,3)(0,3)
-
- Hope this alleviates your misery... although I suspect you will still have
- trouble doing these patterns. Their more easily said than done I'm afraid.
