  12. I think I saw someone asking about an alternative version of
  13. Desiderata here recently.  Here's one a friend sent me.

  15. Go placidly amid the noise and waste,
  16. And remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
  17. Avoid quiet and passive persons, unless you are in need of sleep.
  18. Rotate your tyres.
  19. Speak glowingly of those greater than yourself,
  20. And heed well their advice - even though they be turkeys.
  21. Know what to kiss - and when.
  22. Remember that two wrongs never make a right,
  23. But that three do.
