- If you don't _want_ an AR, I would recommend Galil (I don't
- know how expensive it is in the US) or Valmet m/76.
- The Galil is maybe the best military rifle I've ever shot
- with and Valmet is the one I used when I served in the
- Finnish army. Both of them are very reliable, even better
- than the AR and more accurate than a normal shooter unless
- you use a 40x scope.

- If I could buy a Galil (the company that imported them went

- between rifles after all.
