- I have looked at a shotgun barrel after firing approximately 100 rounds with
- clays powder. It was as clean as they say.

- I personally put zero importance in the cleanliness of powder. My shotgun
- barrels get cleaned first of all to prevent rust from the water in the
- shells, second of all to get the plastic out of the forcing cone and choke
- area and lastly to remove the "dirt" left by the powder.
