  12. I have looked at a shotgun barrel after firing approximately 100 rounds with
  13. clays powder.  It was as clean as they say.

  15. I personally put zero importance in the cleanliness of powder.  My shotgun
  16. barrels get cleaned first of all to prevent rust from the water in the
  17. shells, second of all to get the plastic out of the forcing cone and choke
  18. area and lastly to remove the "dirt" left by the powder.
