- #the slide and some internal modifications to make parts _not_ compatable
- #with the Glock 17 (and thereby prevent conversion of Glock 17s to

- It's my understanding that all of the interesting mods/parts are in
- the slide.

- However, that doesn't mean that a glock 18 slide+parts can be used to
- convert a glock 17. Glock 18 slides don't fit on semi-auto only glock
- frames even though they'd work if they did. A brief review of the 34
- NFA reveals why the frame/slide interface has to be different when
- frame parts are identical in full-auto and semi-auto versions.
