  15. People's Republic of China, according to most sources, refers SKS
  16. as Type 56 Carbine.

  18. BTW I remember read a Chinese training manual that refers SKS as
  19. Type 54 and Type 56 rifle and AK-47 as Type 56 carbine. However
  20. none of the Western sources I read confirm this and I don't have
  21. that manual, I can't give any substantiation.

  24. PRC.
