- I bought my SIG 228 over a month ago and have put about 300-400 rounds
- throug it (none of them hot).
-
- It seems to have devoloped a bit of looseness between the slide and the
- frame. Enough so that with the magazine out, I can feel it rattle when
- I shake it. (with a loaded mag in, the spring seems to stabilize it a
- bit).
-
- There seems to be some give in both the lateral and up&down directions.
- I tried to eyeball the lateral gap between slide and frame, and it seems
- to total about 1/2 mm.
-
- I rember some previous posts about some people having to send there gun
- in for repair of this. I was just wondering how much should I worry
- about this?
