- I have some general questions regarding this gun.
-
- I will be inheriting a 257 Roberts Ruger rifle some time in the future.
-
- I normally hunt deer with a Savage 30-30 in northern Vermont. Would the 257
- have enough stopping power for deer in fairly dense woods?
-
- I have heard that the 257 has the rifling of the barrel in the opposite
- direction than that of standard guns. Is this true? And if so, why would
- a manufacturer want to do this?
