  26. I had understood that the Medved was the "civilian" or "commercial"
  27. counterpart to the Soviet SVD (?) sniper rifle.  That unit uses the old
  28. Russian round (7.62 X 52???) and a larger capacity magazine, either 10
  29. or 20 rounds.
