- In a previous article, erudnick@pica.army.mil (FSAC-SID) says:
-
- #In the 20 Dec issue of SGN several distributors are offering NEW
- #production Colt Detective Specials - 6-shot, .38, 2", blue. This
- #has been rumored for several months in GUN WEEK.
-
- #So it seems that the quintessential "snubby" lives again, and just
- #in time for Christmas! Happy happy happy! Bang bang bang!

- 1) The old bare-pin version looks better than the ugly (imo)
- post 72 shrouded barrel version. It's the style of the shroud,
- not the fact of it that bothers me, because I don't mind the looks
- of the Taurus 85 shroud as much.
-
- The pin and the round front sight looks better, but I don't know if
- it is any more or less practical.
-
- 2) How could they make them 20 oz and six shots if they're all steel?
- The frame must be thin. Are they ok for lots of +P?
