  13.    I've inherited a VZ-24, which was a licensed copy of the Mauser kar. 98.
  14. As I received it, it had a military-style sling (complete with elbow loop)
  15. that I believe was original equipment.  It wasn't in the best of condition.
  16. 50 years in the attic left it badly dry-rotted, and it disintegrated while
  17. I was trying to clean it.

  19.    I'd like to replace it with something as authentic as possible.  I've
  20. stopped by the local gun shops, and they have some that are similar, but
  21. they have Western-style tooling in them, and somehow I don't think that
  22. matches a middle-european weapon.

  24.    Does anybody know of a good source for this sort of thing?
