- -> On a whim, I was thinking about visiting Las Vegas the week of
- -> January 4th. Does anyone have any information on cheap air fares,
- -> lodging, etc? --
-
- Forget it, that's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) week, busy as COMDEX,
- all rooms sold out, prices $90 and up. The show starts on Wednesday,
- ends on Sunday Jan 10th. If you can go a week later (from the 10th.
- onwards) you'll have much better luck. I like staying at the Stardust
- (New tower or East tower, but NOT motel rooms), or Excalibur, or Circus
- Sky Tower (I think that's what they are called) rooms (no bath only
- shower in Circus tower, but very nice rooms). All these hotels are
- pretty reasonable rates, but read other mail here for where to gamble.
- Have fun.
