  21. Here in Germany Fjord horses are very popular. If you need special 
  22. Information please write it, because a friend of mine has some fjords
  23. and is well informated. If you have a fjord buyed be very careful with 
  24. feeding it. Because Norwegian is a land without much feed for horses
  25. they don't need much grain. If they have the possibility to eat grass
  26. it is often enough for them. The gelding of my friend gets 1 kilo 
  27. (2 pounds ) grain each day and he rides him 2 hours a day. 
  28. If they eat to much albumen (is this the right expression ??)
  29. they' ll get problems with theit legs and hoofs.
  30. Fjords are very nice horses, they are very hard, work much and like
  31. peoples. They like it to be outside, too in winter when there is
  32. 2 or 3 feed snow. It is no problem for them if the rider is weighty.
  33. Mostly they are between 135 and 145 cm height, sometimes 150 cm.
  34. Their mane is always standing. If you cut the mane so, that you can 
  35. see the black 172 inch over the light it's called Norwegian, if you 
  36. can't see the black it's Danish.
