- Well, if I were you, and I liked the horse, and I decided to buy him,
- I'd just go ahead and have him gelded. For Christmas this year, my aunt
- gave me a yearling-and-a-half gelding. He's a complete gentleman. Anyway, her
- Arab stallion, Calypso, now five(I believe), he's just gotten too hard
- to handle, so Kim is planning to geld him sometime after the New Year.
- the only thing stallions are good for is stud and trouble. Don't be too
- worried, though, about a stallion colt, you can stop his bad habits before
- they start by having him gelded within a year after you get him.
- Generally you want colts gelded before they're two.
