- selenium and hard keeper
- My 3 day eventing pals feed "Alphasel" regularly to prevent tying up. In the
- seventies we used to give a tablespoon of baking soda in the feed while
- campaigning. I have kept horses in selenium poor areas of Canada and have
- always used feed with added selenium to prevent white muscle disease. This
- was all checked with vets beforehand and again, no need to feed vit. E.
