- Hi Marc,
-
- I'm reading this newsgroup for the first time, so this reply to your
- question may be very late in coming. What you're looking for is the
- so-called "Blue Sheet" which is published weekly by the Coin Dealer
- Newsletter (CDN) of Torrence, CA. The Blue Sheet gives prices for the more
- popular series' (like Morgan's, Walkers, Buffalo's, etc.) as well as
- type coins from PCGS, NGC, ANACS, and (I believe) others. A yearly
- subscription is VERY expensive, but I just saw an ad in the Numismatic
- News in which the CDN would sell a one-time issue of the current price
- lists which should satisfy your needs. The price was $7.50 and you get
- one issue each of:
-
- - The Coin Dealer Newsletter Weekly (weekly trends for U.S. coins)
- - The Currency Dealer Newsletter (paper money)
- - The Certified Coin Dealer Newsletter (the "Blue Sheet")
- - The CDN Monthly Summary (a monthly summary of U.S. collector's coins)
-
- I'd recommend calling the Coin Dealer Newsletter and mentioning the $7.50
- offer listed in Numismatic News. (Sorry, I don't have the phone #.) As for
- population info, you can get this info but I belive it's also very expensive.
- I'd ask a reputable dealer about this...
