- I'm curious about the failures you've observed. My Cannondale
- tourer has had Performance aero spokes in the front wheel (only)
- for perhaps 3000 miles. Those miles included a 3 week tour of
- Ireland (including some pretty rough roads) with heavily loaded
- low riders + handlebar bag. I don't imagine that the front spokes
- were stressed anywhere near as much as the rear, (which is why
- I used DT 14/15/14 on the rear)... but I think this is as harsh
- a test as front spokes ever get. They did fine. In fact, the
- wheel's never needed truing.
