- iI recently purchased the DS2 shock for my Trek 950. I 've really noticed the
- weight
- increase of my bike since doing this. I am no in the process of installing
- lighter parts
- on the bike. I have installed lighter pedals ( a japanese made brand 265gr a
- pair ),
- Scott AT-LF2 bar, Control Stem , lighter Kevlar bead tires ( Specialized Ground
- Control/S
- and Ground Control Extreme ), lighter seatpost skewer and a lighter seat ( Vetta
- Turbo 255gr).
- I think I'm on the right track by installing the above but I am difficulty
- finding a lighter
- than stock seatpost ( titanium is tooooo expensive ). I'd like to know if anyone
- knows
- of a manufacturer ( and PH # if possible ) that makes good/strong /light
- seatposts
- and if anyone has any comments on how to better lighten my MTB I'd appreciate
- it.
