- I don't know where you heard that. Carbon fiber frames break quite often, bot
- road and mountain bike frames. I can't really see the point of a carbon fiber
- mountain bike frame anyway. None of them are much lighter than steel.
- Cannondale 3.0 mtb frames have also had a nasty habit of breaking. I beleive
- the V700 you refer to is a new 'dale frame so I don't know if it's had the
- same problem.
