- Hello!
-
- I am considering picking up mountain biking and would like information on
- the merits and demerits of the sport, whether I can pursue it on an (almost)
- daily basis as a means of exercise, and questions such as which "my-first-
- bike" to get, and what if any special equipment/clothing is required.
-
- Is there a forum to address these questions (if this is not it?). Or
- is the best way going and reading a book (doesn't sound right).
-
- Any advice would be appreciated, as well as good place to get a used bike
- in Northern California (Marin). Offhand, I would think that my budget would
- be $300.
-
- Thanks!
