  14. Assuming adeqaute snow (a problem in this era of global warming), the Adirondaks
  15. are perfect for snowshoeing.  I am somewhat old fashioned, spo my preference is
  16. the westover style (short tail slight turnup of toe) preferrably with neoprene
  17. lacing (rawhide wont cut it in wet snow).

  19. There are numerous other shoe equally as adequate, check your local climbing
  20. supply shop.
