- Assuming adeqaute snow (a problem in this era of global warming), the Adirondaks
- are perfect for snowshoeing. I am somewhat old fashioned, spo my preference is
- the westover style (short tail slight turnup of toe) preferrably with neoprene
- lacing (rawhide wont cut it in wet snow).

- There are numerous other shoe equally as adequate, check your local climbing
- supply shop.
