- Hello, I don't know if this is an FAQ or not, however I thought
- i'd ask it anyways.
- I understand the basic principle behind class A, AB, A/AB etc.
- but i was recently auditioning a threshold amp on a pair of
- Thiel speakers. I was asking about the usual specs and the
- salseman said that threshold uses class-A-Stasis Amplification
- with "Absolute-Zero" Dynamic headroom. What's the deal here?
-
- I've never heard of this before. what does class have to do
- with headroom, and even though it had "Zero" headroom it really
- cranked for it's power rating.
-
- just curious.
- ned.
-
- p.s. Q: What's the difference between an audio salesman and a
- used car salesman?
-
- A: The used car salesman KNOWS when he's lying!!
