- Recently I sold my CD player. In a few months I will be in the
- market for a new CD player. I was also thinking about maybe getting
- a CD/LD player. Namely the Pioneer CLD-M401 5 disc CD/LD player.
- Someone I work with said that the CD quality from a LD player isn't
- as good as the sound quality from a "just a CD player".
- Is this true?

- The CLD-D501 has twin 1 bit D/A converters but only plays one CD, whereas
- the CLD-M401 says it has 1 bit Direct Linear Conversion with high-speed and
- high-density pulseflow D/A converter. Is there a big difference here?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- DM
