- Yep, the input to the Sony MZ-1 accepts either digital (optical) or analog
- input. I have only tried analog so far. It must have a built-in A/D
- converter. The sound is great (except for really tiny cross-talk of
- some sort when the input is extreamly quiet). One neat thing I have been
- doing is recording vinyl record onto MD. Hearing the original clicks and
- pops through the MD player is kind-of a kick!
