  19. The easy trick is to borrow an IDOS ($150) from your hifi shop and see
  20. if the hum goes away.  Also easy to do it get a power strip with emi and
  21. surge protection for $15 and isolate a pair of outlets with a teflon 
  22. washer.  Make sure you don't fool around with the insides unless you
  23. use a proper ground!
