- I currently have a low end (Pioneer) CD player. I really am not happy with
- the sound (what can I expect for $150!). I really want to upgrade to
- a great sounding player - one with clean sound that has enough brightness
- as well as accuracy. I also want optical digital output. Do any of you have
- suggestions for a nice higher-end (around $500) CD player? I'm not looking
- for fancy features; I just want quality sound. I know the FAQ says a lot
- of people like Rotel in this price range, but I heard a posting recently
- that was negative about Rotel. So what should I look at?
-
- Thanks, Joe
