- I remember there has been a posting with a similar theme, but ...
- Recencly, I hooked a Hafler 9270 power amp (200W for 4 ohms speaker)
- to my Kef 104/2 speaker (4 ohms). They sound more than nice, however when
- I turn off the amp, there is a stroke sound one second after I press
- the switch. The Hafler manual reads that the amp has a "Soft Turn On/Off"
- facility that removes a spurious noise while turn on/off.
- Is the beat sound normal even considering the "Soft Turn On/Off" thing?
- If my memory serves right, there was no such a beat with my previous
- Carver amp.
- Any comments would be appreciated.
- Thanks.
