- Bingo. Thank you. Next time you (original poster) -- or anyone else --
- are following me too closely, and I start to tap my breaks, and you
- continue to tailgate me, and I slow down to the speed limit or lower,
- you'll know why. As another poster said, there is little or no excuse
- for rear-ending someone. You are responsible for keeping control of
- your vehicle -- what if a child had run out in front of the driver in
- front of you?

- I see far too many accidents caused by that kind of driving. If you
- can't stop in time, you're driving too close.
