  34.     Unless there are extraneous circumstances - The car in front
  35.     was actually in reverse,  The car in front suddenly had a
  36.     major catastrophic break down that cause it to dead stop (as
  37.     a "unatural fashion),   IT WILL BE NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to - prove
  38.     the car in front was at all at fault.  In 99% of the cases, as
  39.     Tom brought up, it comes down to that the car in back could not
  40.     stop in time due to a combination of the following.

  43.         Tailgating - the extreme of the first
  44.         Mechanical inadequency - bad brakes or tires
  45.         And the old - Just not paying atention

  47.     If the driver of the car in back could disprove the above
  48.     and have a plethora of witnesses proving the driver in front
  49.     did something totally and I mean totally stupid, I'm sorry
  50.     to say the driver in back doesn't stand a chance.
