- Hello everyone,
-
- My question isn't with FTP per se, I can 'get' files with no problem.
- I get stuck when I try and transfer them to my PC. I'd like to know if anyone
- out there can explain to me the ins and outs of tranfering a binary file.
- Fot instance, I heard that flow cannot be X-on/X-off. I have no idea what that
- means, but I changed flow to 'none' in kermit. What about 7/8 bits? Which
- works better, does it matter? Any advice that I can get on this would be
- greatly appreciated. A walkthrough of how to send a binary file through
- kermit would also do wonders I think.
-
- Thanks in advance!!!
