  12. Hello everyone,
  13.
  14.     My question isn't with FTP per se, I can 'get' files with no problem.
  15. I get stuck when I try and transfer them to my PC.  I'd like to know if anyone
  16. out there can explain to me the ins and outs of tranfering a binary file.
  17. Fot instance, I heard that flow cannot be X-on/X-off.  I have no idea what that
  18. means, but I changed flow to 'none' in kermit.  What about 7/8 bits?  Which
  19. works better, does it matter?  Any advice that I can get on this would be
  20. greatly appreciated.  A walkthrough of how to send a binary file through
  21. kermit would also do wonders I think.
  22.
  23. Thanks in advance!!!
  24.
