  15. I have a question which hopefully some tax/visa guru can answer. My employer
  16. has been withholding Medicare from my pay check ever since my status changed
  17. from F-1 (Student) to H-1 (Work permit).

  21. Should non-residents pay for Medicare at all, considering the fact that they
  22. cannot use it anyway ? (Kinda like Social Security). Is there a clause that
  23. indicates classes of people that are exempt from this ?

  27. Should the change in status (F1 to H1) affect Medicare withholding at all ?
  28. If, in fact, I do not have to pay for Medicare, is there a way to get a 
  29. refund on the amount withheld so far ?
