- I am a consultant for a couple of firms and have to travel extensively to
- work for these places. I would like to deduct the standard meal allowance for my days on
- travel for both 1991 and 1992 (I'm one year behind in my taxes).
-
- 1. What is the standard daily meal allowance the IRS allows for consulting in
- both 1991 and 1992?
-
- 2. Are telephone calls back home deductible in Schedule C while on travel?
