  13. Greetings all -- hope you had a happy holiday.  Now, on to
  14. my question.

  16. We would like to take information available from a CD, and re-index
  17. it for use on a LAN Database system.  We're thinking about using
  18. reference books and that kind of thing.  My question is, is this in
  19. violation of the copyright of the disk?  If so, is it possible to buy
  20. a site license for the disk so it can be used in this type of setup?
  21. I suspect that it would be a copyright violation, I'm just make sure.

  23. Any help or other suggestions would be appreciated.  I don't want to
  24. start a debate about copyright -- we really are going to try to do 
  25. this nice and legal.  E-mail or post, either way I'll find it.  Thanks.
