- It's been about 10 years since I had my first ultrasound and i *think* that
- that was about the time that ultrasounds started to be widely used. That
- is a pretty long period of time in my book, especially since the technician
- told us that ultrasound had been being used in the medical field and on
- pregnant woman for much longer (about 20 years??). I don't remember the
- exact numbers (10 years is a long time to me), but using ultrasound during
- pregnancy is not a *new* practice.
