- I'd like to hear from anyone who had some lingering pain from a c-section
- incision, or anyone that knows a good source of information.
-
- Background: After my first c-section, I healed great, and after about
- 3-4 weeks had very little pain. However, six months after my second
- c-section, I still get occasional pain from my incision. (Mostly this
- happens when I am carrying heavy stuff, like both kids, the diaper bag
- and a toy or two all at once! But sometimes it hurts just at the end
- of a long day, when I am tired.) During the second surgery, the doctor
- had commented that she had to go through quite a bit of tough scar tissue
- from the first surgery. I didn't think she did nearly as neat a stitching
- job as the first doctor. I also ruptured the incision a little bit
- about four weeks after Carrie was born, by lifting Brad before I was
- supposed to.
-
- Is this something I should see the doctor about? I admit I have NOT
- done the exercising and toning that I did after my first surgery, so
- maybe just doing my situps would put an end to it.
