- I also have found hawking of Discovery Toys to be on the increase.
- Lots of little ads in the local paper and the Chicagoland parents-of-kids
- publications. And I agree that they are very nice toys, but premium-priced.
- Out of our range, usually.
-
- But conversely, it seems increasingly harder to find anyone who
- sells Tupperware. Tupperware is a good product, so I only want to
- place a small order about once a year (since most items I already
- have aren't wearing out), but darned if I can find any Tupperware
- dealers any more. I've been on the lookout for months, since
- I wanted to get my mother-in-law some tall tumblers for the
- school-age grandhildren's visits (I already supplied her with a
- a set of sipper cups). (Gift Tip note for misc.kidders -- if
- you get the grandparents a basic set of toddler equipment, you'll
- save yourselves lots of lugging and packing.) I also want to replace
- my A-B-C nesting book, as my two kids wore it out from loving
- it so much (Tupperware has a "never-wear-out" guarantee).
-
-
- And why does the "Party" concept still linger? One Tupperware/Discovery
- Toys party is enough to last 5 years. I'd rather just page through the
- catalog and fill out my order.
