  12. Christmas eve and New Year's eve are not usually paid holidays for most
  13. people, so I wouldn't expect it to be a paid holiday for the daycare
  14. provider.  UNLESS it was an agreed upon paid holiday.  My sitter gave
  15. us a contract at the beginning, and it stated all her policies, including
  16. which holidays she'd take, and the pay policy.  In my case, I'm paying
  17. the sitter for three holidays; Christmas eve, Christmas day, and New
  18. year's day.  I'm happy to do it, because I
  19. am very pleased with her care, and she needs the money!
