- Christmas eve and New Year's eve are not usually paid holidays for most
- people, so I wouldn't expect it to be a paid holiday for the daycare
- provider. UNLESS it was an agreed upon paid holiday. My sitter gave
- us a contract at the beginning, and it stated all her policies, including
- which holidays she'd take, and the pay policy. In my case, I'm paying
- the sitter for three holidays; Christmas eve, Christmas day, and New
- year's day. I'm happy to do it, because I
- am very pleased with her care, and she needs the money!
