- I was done at the San Francisco Post office today, going through the
- letters to Santa that end up in the dead letter office. They have a
- Santa's Little Helper program, where one can go in and select a few
- letters and try to fulfil the wishes of the kids who write to Santa.
- Some of the letters were really heartbreakers, like the one by a
- little girl asking Santa for her lost Shih-Tzu dog back. Another touching
- one asked for nothing except that Santa wake her up when he came so she
- could talk to him. Of course, there were those who had make four page long
- lists of what they wanted, and typewritten too!!! ( The Super NES system
- seemed to be the most requested gift... Santa better have some shares
- in Nintendo... ) Another thing I noticed as I leafed through the letters
- were the way the kids had addressed them:- Mr and Mrs Santa Claus,
- North Pole, 00000. or simply Santa Claus.
-
- Anyway, I did choose one letter sent by a woman who listed the names of
- several children, their ages and their sizes. So now I have two gifts
- waiting to be delivered... =)
-
- And if anyone has a Shih-Tzu pup for sale, please drop me a line. I can
- call the SFPHOgJ[gVDZ,g`41x|tmc@m^xut:x
