  27. We had the exact same thing happen to us this weekend.  My husband went to 
  28. water the tree and happened to be barefooted; what a shock!  All the water 
  29. that we had been feeding the tree was going into the carpet.

  31. We will stick with the regular old metal tree stands now.  The plastic one
  32. had a split in the seam that we had not noticed.
