  11. I have to preface this by saying that I have to be one of the few
  12. people who have slipped past the unofficial entrance exam and entered
  13. RPI not liking beer or, worse, hockey.  My wife, on the other hand, is
  14. a great fan.  Our daughter now goes to the campus day care center and
  15. they frequently trot the toddler class over to the fieldhouse to watch
  16. hockey practice.

  18. This evening, I was rocking my daughter to sleep in the living room and
  19. the TV was on.  A commercial for the World Wrestling Federation show
  20. at the local arena came on and my daughter perked up and offered
  21. "Hockey!".  As violent and silly a "sport" as I think hockey to be,
  22. that seemed particularly fitting; I haven't laughed so hard in days.
