  15.     Well, it looks like my aunt was once prey to one of these MDs.  My
  16. cousin is now 11 years old and he was not initially circumsized.  I remember
  17. my aunt having to pull back the foreskin and cleaning the penis daily.  It
  18. turns out that one time she did this and the penis got swollen and the
  19. foreskin would not come back up.  The foreskin was then literally strangling
  20. the penis and my cousin had to be rushed to the hospital where he was given
  21. an emergency circumsicion.  Needless to say my aunt immediately circumsized
  22. her second son.  I am personally in favor of circumsicion (in part due to
  23. this event), but I understand there are pros and cons to both circumsicion
  24. and "no circumsicion".  It is basically a personal choice and I don't think
  25. either choice is better than the other.

  31.     Not really.  After all you don't know the whole story.  Maybe the
  32. kid had some sort of infection and the mother was just treating it.  After
  33. all, he was ASSUMING that the Q-tips were being used due to no circumsion....
  34. And then maybe it was due to having no circumsion.  There could still be
  35. alot of explanations....for example:  1. her doctor told her to clean it
  36. regularly with a Q-tip and she had no reason to doubt his/her credibility.
  37. 2.  Maybe the mother had a bad experience with an uncircumsized penis and
  38. was just trying to make sure her child would not be one of those men that
  39. would have to have a circumsicion later on in life.    I am not trying to
  40. flame, but just pointing out that we can't be too quick to judge without
  41. knowing all the facts.
