- One member of our investment club is a Raymond James customer and has
- been very pleased with them. The club also has followed some of their
- recommendations, generally with pretty good results. They have
- a pretty good newsletter and apparently are good to talk to on the phone.
- Knowledgable and not pushy.
-
- According to a WSJ (I think it was WSJ) report
- apparently RJ's recommendations historically gives
- the highest return of any brokerage in the Nation.
-
- The only potential negative is that they specialize in companies based mainly in
- the SouthEast. Your relative might want a little more diversification by
- not ivesting 100% with RJ.
- For example, they follow very few technology stocks.
-
- BTW, if there is anyone out there in the Raleigh NC area who might be interested
- in joining the AAG investment club then feel free to contact me. We are
- always looking for a little more diversity in our members. Currently we
- are all University Professors, mainly from EE.
