  30. Considering that Novell announced today that it's signed a letter of
  31. intent to buy Unix Systems Laboratories from AT&T, and they'll be
  32. taking a ~$250 million charge in 1Q93, I think it's going to go 
  33. down a lot more before it swings back up.

  35. Unfortunantly, the morale among Unix users and developers is going
  36. to go down a *lot* further, and will probably *never* turn around.
  37. However, that's not something that can be sold short. (From my 
  38. point of view, this is probably one of the two or three *worst*
  39. things that could happen to Unix; I don't think it has any future
  40. under Novells' control.)
