- A QUESTION ABOUT CD-ROM LITERATURE
- We are a working group at the University of Linz, Austria, Europe, whose
- intention is to support visually impaired students and to contribute
- towards the development of information access for this group of people.
- Since we are connected to several international networks (e.g., Internet
- and Bitnet), it is rather easy for us to access databases available via
- telecommunication. However, it would be also interesgint for us to
- access library information stored on CD-Rom. The problem is that a great
- part of the information available on CD-Rom is stored in a graphical
- way.
-
- Question: Do you or anyone else on this discussion list know about
- databases or labraries that present information on CD-Rom in a
- non-graphic (pure text) manner?
-
- With best Thanks
