  15. So, let's hear it - Fido people, CAN you send personal email?  If not,
  16. *please* (I am attempting to be polite in the hopes of convincing
  17. people) use the format suggested.  Maybe there is another newsgroup that
  18. you all can subscribe to to transmit your messages.

  20. I have posted this to the entire group because I have seen more than one
  21. person violate this (normally) accepted community standard.  Basically,
  22. I was trying to save from sending multiple messages as well as convince
  23. many people.  I do NOT want this place to degrade into a series of
  24. personal messages back and forth between readers.

  26. As for flames on this newsgroup - heh, believe me, this place has had
  27. its share of flames and STILL keeps on going.  :)  There's been the
  28. press war, the lights war, and numerous other ones.  Don't worry, people
  29. here take a lickin and keep on tickin.
