  29. Just to elaborate on this:

  31. I was concerned by this comment since it was the first I heard of a
  32. limit on the deductibility, so I too called IRS.  The explanation I
  33. heard was that the points may be fully deductible, but your income
  34. affects how much of your total deductions you can actually use.  The
  35. more you earn over the $102K threshold, the more they chip away at
  36. deductions.
