- I was concerned by this comment since it was the first I heard of a
- limit on the deductibility, so I too called IRS. The explanation I
- heard was that the points may be fully deductible, but your income
- affects how much of your total deductions you can actually use. The
- more you earn over the $102K threshold, the more they chip away at
- deductions.
