- We recently closed on our first house and need to do some cleaning before
- moving in. The carpets are in good shape but the previous owner has a dog
- and we would like to get the carpets cleaned. I have a couple of questions
- about this.
- 1. Is it better to rent a carpet "steam cleaner" from the local super market
- or have a professional service come in and do it? (Are cleaning fluids
- the same and is the equipment comparable?)
- 2. If we have a professional do it then what questions should I ask
- potential services (cleaning fluids, suction equipment etc...)?
- 3. Should we go with the stain guard and other "extras"?
-
- Thanks for all your help in advance!!
